Born and raised in Northern California, Bailey Wylie is an Associate Attorney at The Law Offices of Maloney & Campolo, where she represents clients in personal injury and civil litigation matters. Her Master’s Degree in Communications and experience as Captain of the St. Mary’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Team have played a vital role in allowing her to strategically approach client advocacy for both pre-litigation and litigation cases.
Before law school, Bailey earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Communication Arts. As a junior in High School, Bailey was recruited to play for the St. Mary’s University NCAA Women’s Golf Team on scholarship, earning a role as captain her Junior and Senior years. Bailey served as the keynote speaker at the St. Mary’s All-Sports Athletic Banquet during her senior year. Upon graduation, her outstanding achievements on and off the golf course paved the way to serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Women’s Golf Team at the University of the Incarnate Word as she earned her master’s degree. While in this role, she showcased her strong work ethic, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Bailey went on to teach High School English and a Gifted and Talented College Preparatory Course at Reagan High School. She also served as Reagan’s Assistant Golf Coach, earning a promotion to Head Golf Coach after just one year. After three years of teaching, Bailey decided to pursue her lifelong dream to become an attorney under the mentorship of Tim Maloney.
As a law student, Bailey gained practical skills while clerking for the Law Offices of Maloney and Campolo. As a 1L, she co-founded United for Change, a volunteer-based campus organization geared towards fundraising student led causes including the fellowship fund. Bailey went on to join the ADR team and become a staff writer for The Scholar: Law Review on Race & Social Justice. During her 3L year, Bailey was selected for publication in The Scholar, and served as Co-Captain for the ADR team.
Bailey was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Barristers as a result of excelling in multiple national negotiation and mediation competitions. She continues to leverage her diverse skill set while upholding her commitment to representing clients.
When Bailey is not working, she enjoys playing golf with her husband, reading, and serving as an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Coach of the St. Mary’s School of Law Negotiation Team.
